Spring 2018 - Our Laureates

  • Comin, Massimiliano
After obtaining my B.Sc. in mathematics and physics, I obtained a M.Sc. in numerical condensed matter physics at University of Montreal (Canada), where I devised a deep generative model (i.e. a deep learning algorithm) for the atomic structure of amorphous silicon.
  • Driscoll, Katherine
I obtained my master’s degree in Atomic Scale Modeling of Physical, Chemical and Bio-moleculer Systems through the University of Amsterdam, Vrije University of Amsterdam, La Sapienza University and ENS Lyon.
  • East, Richard
I originally studied theoretical phyics at Manchester where I became interested in alternative constructions of quantum mechancis, in particular categorical quantum mechanics, which lead me to do a masters at Oxford in mathematics and the foundations of computer science where this formalism was invented.
  • Fellous-Asiani, Marco
I have a master's degree in engineering from Centrale Lille and a master's degree in physics from the ENS Lyon.
  • Garcia-Campos, Pablo
I graduated in Physics in the University Complutense of Madrid (Spain), then I chose to move abroad and continue my studies doing the Quantum Matter master, here in the University of Grenoble-Alpes. After finishing my master thesis, I decided to keep researching the same subject during the PhD.
  • Goswami, Ashutosh
I have a bachelor and a masters degree in Physics. I recieved my masters in 2017 from IISER, Kolkata. I worked on different aspects of Quantum information specifically Quantum cryptography and Entanglement witnesses during my masters project.
  • Gumus, Mehmet Efe
I have a bachelor degree in electronics from Istanbul Technical University. Having grown interest on quantum devices, I pursued the master’s degree on Nanoscale engineering at Ecole Centrale de Lyon.
  • Klemt, Bernhard
    QuEnG and GreQuE
I studied physics at RWTH Aachen University in Germany. During my master’s studies I specialized in solid-state physics and in my master’s thesis I focused on spin qubits in SiGe/Si/SiGe heterostructures.
  • Letertre, Laurie
After finishing a PhD in experimental physics in the University of Mons (Belgium), I did a Master in philosophy of physics in the University of Bristol.
  • Tiwari, Vivekanand
I studied Applied Optics at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT D) in India and I was working on optical charecterization of perovskite type Inorganic-Organic hybrid nanoparticles.
  • Wang, Jun Liang
I obtained my BSc in Nanoscience & Nanotechnology at University Autonomous of Barcelona and my MSc in Materials Engineering at University of Madrid.
