Guerra, Marco

I have a Bachelor's degree in Electronic engineering and a Master's degree in Nanotechnologies for ICTs, both obtained in Italy, at Politecnico of Turin.
My interests are mainly focused on the physics of low dimensional systems and their applications in quantum electronics.

My PhD will be oriented toward the development of electron optics in graphene, exploiting the negative refraction effect, with the aim to build novel quantum devices.

I will fabricate van der Waals heterostructures forming p-n junctions in graphene, and investigate the ballistic and coherent charge transport using scanning gate microscopy.
