Driscoll, Katherine

I obtained my master’s degree in Atomic Scale Modeling of Physical, Chemical and Bio-moleculer Systems through the University of Amsterdam, Vrije University of Amsterdam, La Sapienza University and ENS Lyon.
My PhD project will focus on understanding the fundamental interplay between charge frustration, strong electronic correlations and long-range interactions in the charge glass phase observed in the 'theta'(ET)2X family of salts. Additionally, I shall explore novel quantum phases driven by frustrated interactions and investigate their relevance for use in phase change memory technologies.
